such like, collaborate with your boss, met you at your poster, review your grant, committee member for your award, etc.

Try to get as many letters from persons who don't know you personally because letters from people who worked with you doesn;t help you too much with your petition.

I think graduation2003 showed the obvious choices. i only would avoid writing "collaboration with boss" because that might mean that you got a positive recommendation letters because of the connection between your boss and the other scientist and not because of your accomplishments.
