Today i recived a response from my Senator office.

Basiclly the response is a chain of emails between the senator office & the congressional Liasion officer of the CIS.

the first email was sent 5/8/06 from the S.Office asking about my case status, and the reply was simply:Pending Secuirty Clearance.

then after i knew my name check was cleared more than 2 years ago, i sent another request to the S.O. They acquired about my case from the FBI to make sure that the information i provided is correct, and it was correct.

so the second email in this chain was sent from the S.O to the C.L.office on 8/9/06@10.08AM, staiting:

per your previous response, i did an inquiry with the FBI Name Check office and i have a response from them stating they processed and finalized MR.xxxx on July 27, 2004. I can send you a copy of the FBI response if you need. Can you please give me an update on this case?

this C.L.office replaied at the same date 8/9/06@10.42AM:

The process is not in place yet, we will let the applicant know by mail when the case is ready.

now my question is: what the fuck that is?

this C.L. office person replaied less than 30 minutes to the Senator office email which aqused them with the laziness and incompetency, it's so obvious that thoes CIS people dont give a shit about us nor the senator office inequires. From the 30 minutes diffrence between the 2 emails, the CIS didn't even bother to look closely to the case, and see what is the real problem for the 2 years delay.

Did any body have a clue about thier last response:

The process is not in place yet, we will let the applicant know by mail when the case is ready.

I don't know what are they doing with my application exactelly, and i really appreciate evrybody thoughts and feed back.

Regards,

Moody

2 years for a interview...shame on the politicians[reps & dem's..i dont see much of a difference between the 2 parties],who lack the will to adequately staff the uscis....
I think the people who are naturalizing are really lucky,i mean once the process starts for the millions of undocumented ppl...damn,the sole thought freeks me out...
hope u get ur citizenship by then.

guys,

still my question is what they meant by : The process is not in place yet, we will let the applicant know by mail when the case is ready.

i have a real problem understanding what this means.

i know the CIS office i'm belong to is processing applications sent in March 2006, mine was July 2004.

if you can inerpet what they meant, please post.

Regards

Now is the time to file a lawsuit against CIS. If the FBI security checks have cleared, and they fail to adjudicate the application promptly, you can petition the court to force them to adjudicate your case. See an attorney in your area ASAP - www. AILA.org

Go in person the senator's office and ask for clarification on what that means. They have the direct line to the liason and can ask for an explanation of what that means.

Went to the Senator Office today

I Went to the Senator Office today, they said the process is not in place yet means that the Whole security background check is not completed yet.

Yes, the FBI name check, fingerprint, IBIS check were completed 2 years ago, but other check are still pending, no time frame for completion was provided by the CIS. in other words, it's an open ended process.

I can smell an obvious discrimination issue here. CIS want the above mentioned checks to be completed, and also you have to wait for them, cry to everybody in the nation, kiss thier dirty asses in order to get your application adjiducated, and to be a citizen of this great nation.

Damn it, CIS can't do this shit to us, unless they being instructed to do so by the big boys.

I think WOM is the solution, and the court is the place to go, let the justice in this country to stand for us.

I don't think it is a discrimination thing or a malevolence thing; it is an overwork + incompetance + wrong goals thing.

It appears that if everything falls into place, you can sail through the N-400 process in 6 or 7 months (or even less). But, as soon as there's a hiccup, your paperwork gets shuffled off to the "this application doesn't count against our key metrics" pile and you end up being in the extreme slow lane.

In my case, there were no problems with my fingerprints or my name check (one of the agents requested my file during an infopass appoint and went through everything with me). The only problem was that they momentarily lost track of my file soon after they scheduled my interview last spring -- so they descheduled the interview. As I understand it, my file has been all set, waiting for my interview since early to mid may.

Other than 3 info pass appts I've scheduled, I haven't heard anything since that deschedule notice. My application will have it's first birthday next month.

what lead you to that conclusion? You have presented zero facts that can conceivably support that conclusion.

It is unfortunately that your application isn't processed in a speedy manner, due to a bunch of reasons and security check appears to be one of them. However, none of that seems to be related to "discrimination" based what you have provided here.

Speak on facts or you erode your own cridibility.

Facts says:

1. The required checks for citizenship application approval was completed 2 years ago(Name check, fingerprint check, IBIS check)

2. No criminal history nor arrest, as per the FBI.

Can anybody think about anything else??

didn't they tell you otherwise by saying the follow?

the Whole security background check is not completed yet.

2. No criminal history nor arrest, as per the FBI.

if you understood the subject matter, you would know that they do more than just criminal history / arrests.

Stay with facts and I don't think the facts you have presented so far suggest a hint of discrimination.

Now, it is unfortunate that your application is all tied up. It shouldn't have happened but it does happen from time to time for a variety of reasons and some of them valid, some of them inexcusable. Sounds like in your case no one knows for sure what's going on. That is the worst scenario in my view, unfortunately.
