recieved response from USCI(back ground check pending)

I sent a letter to obdusmen some time in June2007. I received following response from USCIS.

"After carefully reviewing your records we have determined that your application is still pending. The processing of your case has been delayed, because of the following reason. A check of your records establishes that your case is not yet ready for decision as the required investigation into your background is still in process. These background checks are required to be completed on all applicants...blah..blah.."

Sounds like I am officially stuck in background or name check process.
 
My case is similar to you. I haven't got official response from anyone but couple calls to USCIS felt that mine is also stuck in the namecheck process. My feeling is that most application filed during March 2005 are stuck there.
Also we can see whoever stuck on namecheck is repeatedly (almost every 15 month expiry period) getting FP notices though it is not directly related to FBI namecheck.

Sent letters to FL, congressman and senator but I don't see that helps.
 
Don't worry guys. They said all my checks are cleared. Still nothing. I know you guys PD is old, but my RD is older than you guyz. Everytime I call they say all checks are clear. Everything looks great. But no approval. I finally gave up.
What I feel like is that, getting approval is a game of luck. There is not a thing
we could do. ( you could get your namecheck done by writing to vice president,president and all those people..if you are lucky it may work)

I know what you are saying.You may be right people who have RD in 2003 and 2004 are getting approved.

During First infopass appointment I was told Additional review need to be done. Second Info pass every thing looks good. First SR..addistional review needed.
When I call NSC, I was told everything looks good and all checks are clear.

It would be nice if they can clearly consistently tell us. If it is because of receive date or name check is blocking to approve the GC
 
Are there any EB3 approvals for RD 2005 from NSC.. I saw few cases with dec 2004 RD. Now they are considering only RD it seems.. USCIS responding every time with different answer. One time Everything cleared and waiting for officer review.. One time Security check pending.. agian everthing cleared.. Now i lost hopes and stopped calling uscis.. as it is more confusing.. I hope we will see the approvals for cases with RD 2005.. Good Luck to all of us...:(
