Well there is more than one lawyer in the ASYLEE Lawsuit so I emailed all of em(naughty me).
This is what I had written:
"Dear Miss XXX, I know you can't discuss the negotations further but do you think this will get resolved in 2-3 months or we are looking at a longer time-frame?
I appreciate you taking time in responding to me.

And this is what she replied to:

Hi there. We are still in the settlement negotations and hope to get it resolved in few months. This will be resolved sooner than later. I can't discuss much But feel free to check back in again or let us know if you have a particularly backlogged case.
