Reciept Date / Priority Date / Notice Date

Gurus.

Have a question on the dates. I got my 485 approved on 10/19/2004 and recvd. the notice today. The dates on the notice as as follows:
Reciept Date - 07/08/2003 (date when I applied for 485)
Priority Date - 08/26/2002 (Dont know what this is)
Notice Date - 10/19/2004 (Approval Date)

What does priority date means? Should I be concerned going for my stamping next week as Priority Date is still 08/26/2002 while I applied in 07/2003 and is now approved? Thanks in advance.

Relax!

Enjoy your freedom! Your priority date is the date your labor application was filed. Receipt/Notice dates are when your 485 was filed and entered into the system at USCIS, respectively. All these dates are irrelevant now that you are approved. Have a drink and plan what you want to do after stamping!
