Today there are 10 VSC approvals and 6 NSC approvals on Rupnet.com. Also you would have seen some approval messages here.

Most of the approvals are with ND in the range September 2001 to July 2002. Some of the June/July 2002 cases were approved just before the expiry of first fingerprint. So it is obvious that USCIS doesn't want to spend more money on re-fingerprinting every 15 months.

If your finger print is about to expire, instead of keeping your fingers crossed contact your local Congressman/woman for help on your case. If your finger print has expired then contact USCIS and request manual scheduling for fingerprint. Hit all the corners, Congressional Liaison, AILA liaison, .................

P.S: Don't get excited about the recent adjudication trends, instead keep focussed on our Congressional campaign to address the backlog issue

Hi,

That is a very important information you gave us. But will Congressman entertain us as we have not finished 26 months for filing I485.

Thanks,
Mugdha.

Some Congressional office help us even before 26 months!!!!!!!!!

It doesn't harm to try this!!!!!

I think for most of the people in this forum ... the FP is due to expire ....

If everybody contacts the senator or congress for help, won't it harm the chances for the really needy ... like who completed time behind 485 bars for over 26 months ?

Update Processing I485 w/ Receipt Date of:
2/28/02 5/1/01
7/24/02 5/25/01
9/13/02 8/1/01
9/29/02 8/1/01
11/08/02 6/29/01
11/15/02 8/01/01
3/15/03 8/1/01
4/15/03 8/22/01
6/15/03 8/22/01
8/28/03 8/20/01
9/1/03 8/20/01
10/1/03 8/24/01
11/19/02 8/24/01

INS/BCIS/USCIS has been stuck in August in some form or another for >1 year. Extrapolate the data, and it would imply that it would take years and years for an I485 filed in January 2002 to be adjudicated. From rupnet as well as my own experience (RD 12/18/01 AD 9/17/03) it’s evident these dates are a fraud. They are used to prevent the launching of inquiries and to fend off congressional inquiries.

After I filed my I485 I would check immigration.com on a daily basis to see if the processing dates moves forward. I did this from work, and there’s a page in my 2002 appointment diary where I jotted down the dates. A meaningless task from certain individuals calculus, but this forum was therapeutic for me.

Rgds,
sadiq
