SydneyRacquelle & cxqiu,

>What date would 02-039 be?? My guess would be mid-December 2001.

The ND for SRC-02-039 is November 17, 2001.

withdrawn or denied?

Bajis,
The one case that is withdrawn or denied, was it withdrawn, or was it denied? There is a big difference. What does the actual message say?

Withdrawn would be when the I-140 was withdrawn by the employer, or if the case was withdrawn because they got another I-485 approved through another channel (DV, Family, other EB, spouse had thier own sponsor, etc)

Denied would be when BCIS says they are not going to give you a green card.

curiousGeorge - It was "Withdrawn". Here is the message:

Receipt Number: SRC0203952325

Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On April 23, 2002, we mailed a notice acknowledging withdrawal of this application. This withdrawal completes all action on this application. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please contact the service center where you submitted your application during business hours.

If the receipt in in Dec. 2001, that may be a person I know. Her 485 was family based. As she told me, those cases are handled directly in locale service centers
