Receiving oath letter after 60 days of "normal" background check time

Has anyone received their oath letter after being told at the interview to wait 60 days for their backgound check to be cleared? The officer told my friend after the interview to wait 60 days for this to be done and to write a letter to him after 60 days if nothing had happened. Please share your experiences.

I saw some postings that they got oath letter in 3 weeks after security check pending.
