Hello,
I got married to a citizen and before the expiration of my 2 yr green card, I apply for I 751 form or form to remove conditional residence.
I only received couple letters saying that my case was delayed. My green card is already expired and I went to local imigration office to get a stamp passport.
Can I travel with that passport and come back to the us. I have an emergency and I don't know if I can come back
It says:
Upon endorsment, serves as temporary I-551 evidencing permanent residency valid until Mar 22,2009
