Hi everyone,
Just wanted to update the board members and get some feed back.
I received a RFE on the 12th. It states: "It does not appear that you are eligible to adjust your status to that of a lawful permanent resident, unless you submit certain additional material."
The RFE also asked for the all copies of I-120 issued to me.
The RFE questions wheather I maintained F1 status during the time after my graduation date till the date my H1B was approved. i.e June 6, 1999 thru March 20, 2000.
However, at that time I was I was working with my EAD that I had received as part of my OPT. I am not sure but, I think we had included the copy that EAD when I-485 was filed.
If any one of you have gone thru such a RFE or know of any thread that deal with this particular type of RFE, i would appreciate your response or the link.
I have not had a chance to speak to my attorney as he was away yesterday, I hope to speak to him today. I will keep you guys posted of the developments.
Keeping my fingers crossed.
J
