Gowdru, yes seperate approval should come for each one of you. But historically because of bad filing practice at INS, your\'s and your wife file may be split and you go lucky first. In my case received my approval by last week of March, My sons around Mid April, we are still waiting for my wifes approval.
In another Instance for my friend, his wife receive it first and he got the approval after 30 Days. Hope it helps.
