Received Plastic Cards

Finally, the last stage is over, i have received cards in the mail(for my wife also) on 04/13/01. but, on card it says, Resident since and valid upto year 2011. Any comments??

Hey congrats on receiving your card!!
As far as the residency date goes, I think INS
has made this mistake many times. They confuse
Labor PD with "residence since" PD, kind of the
same way they confuse RD/ND (ie. what we
think is ND, they think it is RD). If you had been
PR since 97, you should be able to file for naturalization
this year or next year. I think the experts will agree with
me that this is a mistake. But who cares anyway, you
got the green card and that\'s pretty much what matters.
