We received our plastic cards last week. We had our stamping done in Chicago . Me on June 4th/01 and my wife on june 13th/01. My wife received her card on Mar 4th/02 and I received the card on Mar 8th/02. Feels good to see the high tech pastic card. Will relax for 4.4 years to begin our next ordeal of citizenship. Till then thanks to all for the excellent posts. It really helped us to hang on. Thanks.

Recieved the plastic
Stamped in Portland, OR on July 24th, 01. Got the plastic over last weekend for both me and my wife on the same day. Went and updated the address at the local office (about 6 mo after stamping) - the envelope was addressed to the new address. It was sent on Mar 8th from KY.

Actually, you are fortunate to get the card though you got stamped in June. We got stamped in June 01 and still waiting. I called IIO and she gave me the crap of 18 months processing time. So, if your spouse not got the card yet, it is not unusual. I have seen you posting this question many times. So I thought you are worried about it a lot. Don\'t worry, we all are there. It\'s just that you are lucky to get the card that fast.

I guess it might depend on the place where one gets the passport stamped - when they actually send it to NSC or wherever, mood of the INS official etc. Hopefully you should recieve it soon. I see other postings here who have got their cards recently for PP stamped in June/July. I guess yours must be in the queue somewhere along with those. Hang in there, you will get it soon. I don\'t think calling IIO is going to be any useful (if you can get the line).

Did you have an interview at local INS for approval? A friend of mine got his card within a month after the interview. Other guys are still waiting (for months) for the card.
