Received My GC Two Years Ago. Awaiting Wifes

I recived my GC two years ago. My Priority date was Oct 2000 and EB3 category. I filed my Wife's I485 in July 2003 as my derivative. I haven't received her green card yet.
Will her priority date be considered my priority date or will it be July 2003 when she filed her I485.
What should be my action.

Your priority date will be your wife's priority date, which would be Oct. 2000. It does not matter when did you file for her as she has derivative status.

Your wife will have the same PD as yourself. I would contact your local Senator's office or House of Rep to find out the accurate status of your wife's case, what is causing the delay etc. Calling the service center may or may not work...if you get a good officer, they may give you detailed insight..otherwise its worthless. Just my 2 cents..
