Received Green Card in Mail

Hi All,

I received the actual Green cards by Mail (USPS) yesterday. I want to thank all friends and wellwishers of this forum for your good words of encouragement, information and wishes. I sincerely hope that everyone will get their cards like me pretty soon.

I am posting my details for you all ...

I 140, I 485 Concurrent filing, EB-2 CSC, PD March 2002

Applied date 30th Sep 2005 and Notice Date 12th Oct 2005

All cases transferred to Texas Center on March 29th

I 140 approved 26 May 2006

Medicals RFE reply received by INS on 1st Aug 2006

I 485 approval 25th Sept 2006 email received on 26th Sept 2006.

eb3Ind, Any update on your case? My NC was cleared on 7/06 as well so I am trying to see if CSC is doing anything on our cases.

I gave my code1 FP on Saturday (09/30) (Early FP, orig. scheduled for 10/04). Neither LUD nor message changed. Still waiting for some news...

Q for you. I remember you saying that you did FP recently. Did you have code-1 or code-3? Does code -2 (photo + signature) expire after certain time like code-1 results?

I had code 1 and 2 done last year but during Infopass appointment, IO gave us code 3 appointment (Fingerprints+photo+signature). I guess only code 1 expires but do not know why we got code 3 this time.
We did Biometrics on 9/8 but so far no change in message or LUD.

EB1UB Can you please tell me how you found out that your NC is cleared??

As suggested by other members on the forum, I was sending emails as well as mails to FBI every week. I also contacted Congressman and senators in my area. I got an email from FBI NNCP in Aug that my Name check was cleared in 07/06 and my senator has also confirmed this.

my 485 was approved last Friday (EB3: PD Nov 2000). I got the approval emails for me and my wife. It just said that the case has been approved but nothing about the cards. what was the email that you got. Did you get any separate emails that the cards were ordered, etc ?

Thanks for the info! Is NNCP = National Name Check Program? Can you please provide the email address? What should be the gist of the email?
 
It is FBINNCP@ic.fbi.gov. I wrote about the problems my family is facing due to delay in the GC.

Approval Mails

Hi FromHyd,
Yes, I received emails after approval stating that notice was being mailed. I also received email that cards were ordered for us. I also received emails that the card order was completed and it was being mailed to us directly. All this within 7 to 8 days and then on Saturday (6th day) I got the approval notices and on the 8th day yesterday I received the actual cards in mail. Life seemed to move so long sometimes and then when the cards were in hand, it was like everything went in fast forward. It was a wonderful Vijayadasami for us. Almost like I won something in life. :D :D :D Maybe you feel that I am being silly but it is a feeling that I won't forget forever. I hope all of you get the same fruits of labor. Good luck folks ...
 
Thanks telephoneindia for all the details. We had the same feeling and had no stop for our excitement, we were very thrilled and had a great Dasara wknd. Hoping to see the emails/cards soon without any further delays.

Did you really do that ? For how long ?
I have sent e-mail once about 1 year ago and never recieved a reply....

I have sent many mails and emails to FBI since sept, 2005. I asked my employer to write letters for me as well. I think many other members on this forum has also suggested to do so. You never know what will work for you.
