Received GC, do I still have to keep INS informed ?

Hi, now that I received the GC, do I still have to keep INS informed when I move ? It feels like a useless thing to do as TSC doesn\'t even open their mail...

not only that...

you were supposed to file AR-11 even as non-immigrant - all your happy days as F-1, H-1,EAD etc. if you have moved and not filed, papa ins may come after you.
 
after 9/11

if any GC holder is caught walking on the street without his GC/Passport, INS laws say that he may look forward to a 30-day jail term, and/or $$$ in fines.
