I called on 3/14, asked IIO to schedule FP.
Surprised to see the FP Notice in my mailbox on 3/19.
FP Scheduled for 5/3

**CORRECTION : The Date stamp on the envelope shows 3/13/03, which tells me it was not my phone call to the IIO that did it, either it was my Attorney's letter sent 2 weeks ago OR, more than likely TSC processing it as per its own time table**

Question : BAJIS & other Dallas Filers, when you went early for FP to 3701 W.Northwest Hwy, Dallas; is there a specific day of the week/time you went there. I thought someone had suggested WED.

Pls. advise.

Congratulations!

Congratulations! I know you have been waiting forever.

I went early on a Saturday. I am from FL so you might want another opinion from Texas filers. But I believe INS resheduled ple who can't FP on scheduled date on Wednesdays and Saturdays. So those are the days that ple are usually encouraged to go.

bkd52,

Congratulations on your FP! I went to Ft. Worth (not Dallas) ASC for my FP. And I went on my scheduled FP date itself. So I am not sure about doing FP early in Dallas.

But from previous posts, any day (especially Wednesday and Saturday) around 2 PM sounded fine. The only key is that the ASC needs to be empty, so that the officers there would allow you. No harm trying once.

Good luck.

Anybody go for early FP to 3701 W. NW Hwy. in Dallas??

I am planning to go this wednesday.
What time is good? Early morning at 8 AM or later in the afternoon at 2 PM as BajiS suggested.

Thanks,

I went on two Saturdays to do my FP early. The first time was at like 10am. There was a big crowd and they did not let me do it.

I took inspiration from some other postings on this web site and went again on a Saturday at 1.30pm. This time, the place was almost empty. They let me do it, but only after a lot of pleading. Tell them that you are, maybe, going to be out of the country and won't be back for a few months or something. If you just say that you will not be in town for the FP scheduled date, they will tell you to come back within 2 months (or is it 3?) because you can do the FP within 2 months after the scheduled date.

Anyway, I suggest going any day at around 1.30pm and with a good story. From other postings, I understand that Sat may not be a good day. Maybe, it doesn't matter as long as you go at around 1.30pm.

It's a lot of hassle but better than sitting on the FP notice for 2 months!! Good luck!!
