I received FP notice from VSC yesterday.

EB2/India/PD:June\'99/RD:Aug\'00

FP is on 12/14/00 in Baltimore.

Congratulations! It\'s really amazing and exciting that you can get FP notice within 3 month after filing I-485. Can you explain why it is so fast for you while lots of guys who submitted their I-485s in Aug.99 are still waiting? What field are you working in?

No one knows the reason. But, it is true that lot of people
who applied in Aug/Sep/Oct 2000 are getting FP notices
(regardless of the field they are in). I have no clue what
is going on VSC. FP doesn\'t necessarily mean that these
guys will be approved before others.

I think if your I-485s have been pending for 180 days or more will not get FP notice soon.

Thanks for reply. As I learnt from this board most people got their I-485 approved within 3-6 months after fingerprinting. Good luck!
