Hi Guys,
This is my first time posting here. Just received FP notice for fingerprints in New York City.

RD 11/9/99
ND 11/17/99

My question is, can i go for the FP before the scheduled date? I would not be able to go
on the scheduled date due to a business trip.

Thanks

Which country are you from. If you are from China or India, this is really a good news. Thanks.

Kiran,
I am glad that you got the finger printing notice but why did your case has taken such a long time when your PD is 96 and you are in EB-2 category. Are you sure you are in EB-2 or your PD is in the year 96 ???

Thanks

Goofie_Bunny,

His PD has nothing to do with his ND. For all you know, he could have just waited for personal reasons to apply his 485, or he could have switched companies after getting his 140 approved, hence locking his PD. So.........

My details : EB3, India, PD Mar/96, ND Oct/27/99 : No Fp yet

You are right. PD has noting to do with it. However when IIO is working on Oct 15th cases(per IIO I spoke to this morning), if you are lucky your file could be worked on even if it is slightly ahead of others. IIO said that I should expect FP notice within 2 weeks to 30 days.

Good news is that they are working on and beyond Oct/99 cases.

The age old question...if you guys don\'t mind me asking...how do they process, by RD or ND...

My RD is 11/17/99 and my ND is 12/01/99(VSC)...looooong ways to go...

Also, how can VSC pick up cases recv\'d in 10/99, when they are not
done with cases recv\'d in 9/99? just curious...

Srini,

It has processed based on ND, as far as I know. And to answer your other question, just be happy that they have moved on to Oct \'99.. Infact I know a few cases where Aug \'99 is still pending. I am hoping that those cases will processed in parallel.
