Hi Guys,

My ND is 5/8/03 (EB2)

Today i received FP notice scheduled for March 13, 04

My concerns are:
1. Can i do my fingerprinting in advance as i am leaving for India in first week of March?
2. Anybody has any idea if the INS office in Boston opens on saturday.

Yes you can. Try to reach the office early and you can get it done.
2. Anybody has any idea if the INS office in Boston opens on saturday.
Even if it is open on Saturday I would suggest you to go on a working day because the crowd will be less during working days.

I have received my FP notice in mail that my lawyer sent me. The online status hasn't changed however.

I-140/485

ND: May 8, 2003
FP: ND: Feb 11, 2004 - Scheduled for Mar. 19, 2004

Finger Priniting Notice

Does the finger printing notice goes to the lawyers or is it mailed directly to the applicant?

FP Notice

I'm not sure about whether it goes to lawyer or not but I received mine via regular mail.

Re: Finger Printing

I received the Finger Printing Notice for my wife today and it has been scheduled for 3/18/04 - However the online message has not changed, they received her application on 5/20/03 - I am the primary applicant.

My I-140 has been pending since March '03 does this mean that I could possibly be close to adjudication of my I-140 or it has been adjudicated, any one with some experince please share your views, the online sings same old 90-485 days

Thanks

Guys,

Just to let you know that I have completed my finger prints ahead of schedule at INS boston.

I am (almost) in the same boat as you. As far as I understand (and learnt recently), FP and I-140 are two independent tracks. The fact that you have received FP notice does not mean your I140 is nearing approval (or adjudication). Apparently, those who applied their 140/485 during the last months of 2002 got their FP notices within 3 or 4 months. But, their 140s might still be pending.

I might be wrong. Gurus, please correct me if I am wrong.

Stay safe.
