Received Finger print Notice on March 5th

We received Finger print Notice on March 5th.
I485 Notice Date: May 23, 2003
Nebraska Service Center.

Can we safely assume, we will get GC by March 2005?
Or we have to go for Finger prints again?

with the current pace, you should consider yourself lucky if
don't have to go for 2nd FP again.

but who knows how INS works, we see approvals for
may 2002, when they haven't even touched cases from 2001 Sep.
 
If lucky you can get within 15 months from the finger printing day ...that will be sometime by june 2005 ( provided you get your finger printing done by this month .....) ... but with INS nobody can predict anything ... :o
 
Be prepared to wait until June 2006 to get approval. You should praise God for special grace if an early approval does come.

You would have an appointment fixed for FP sometime in APR 2004, your notice will also mention an ultimate date may be sometime in June 2004. My advice (many may not like it) is, do not do your FP right away, they will just expire in 15 months. If you delay and get your FP just before the ultimate date, may be in June 2004, then your FP will be valid upt Oct 2005, instead of expiring by Aug 2005. Usually people do not like suggestion given free of cost...., think about it.

My son 8 year old did not get finger prints.
I am guessing, there will not be finger prints for him.

That's provided you get approved before he turns 14 :)
