Need your help with the below query.
My spouse entered US in IR1 status (we filed via DCF) and got her IR1 endorsement in her passport as well in July at the port of entry. On Aug 12th we got a notification saying the card is being produced and will be mailed. But instead we have received a fingerprint notice now. Is this normal procedure? I was expecting the card to arrive.
The fingerprint was already done in our home country in June and again at the port of entry. Has anyone experienced the same.
