received email respone for FBI name check

My spouse sent an email to FBI name check id on December 6th 2004 and got the following response:
*******email start***********
I am responding to your email dated December 6, 2004, concerning your name check status for immigration purposes.

The FBI completed a name check for you on December 6, 2004, and the results were forwarded to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services Headquarters, Washington, DC.
**********email end***************

So it looks like they have completed the name check on the same date as email date. Is it a co-incidence? Can anyone tell if they also got the similar reply?

I sent an email on November 16th 2004 for that there is no reply yet.:confused:

Both of us sent emails to fbinncp@ic.fbi.gov. I tried sending email again to this address. But it got bounced back to me. Looks like email address has been changed. Any one know of correct email address?
 
It could be -- Same as my case.

I called 202 324 3625 yesterday to verify my "name check" status. The guy who answered the phone told me that they will not give the info over phone. But, told me to send only one email to fbinncp@ic.fbi.gov

Hope this helps.
 
Were you able to send an email to that address after he gave it to you yesterday? I just tried again and it still bounced back immediately?
