Hello All,

I received email reply from Division XII about my 485 status. I had sent out the email yesterday (June 5, 2005) and received email reply today!!!

Below is the reply from Division XII:

This is to inform you that the I-485 in question is still pending. The
reason
that it is still pending is that USCIS is awaiting NAME CHECK results
form
the
FBI. It may have been a long time since we sent the name, but USCIS has
no
control of the time it takes. We apologize for the delay

Can you let me know the format to send the email for 485 status inquiry to CIS -
Did you send email to FBI on namecheck status?

mine is EB3, RD 12.03.05
I-140&EAD are approved

Helps quite a bit, i'll send same email and see if i get a response. Are you going to send request to FBI for the name check. I remember reading another thread that said the FBI was sending back responses on Dec 04 name check requests to USCIS-

Not sure about 140 email address

Hi,

I am not sure about the email address for inquiring 140. I guess attorney or company HR only can do 140 inquiry.

I got 485 email address by asking this wonderful forum.

I got the exact same respone. from them regrding my case. I hope they do not have an automatic response set up.
 
Same here friends....NNCP is screwing up things. Check with FBI friends. Don't just sit & relax. FBI might not have got the Name Check Request from USCIS & USCIS will be waiting for a response from FBI....resulting in a deadlock...
So Ping FBI....to see what is the status of your case....If they say we haven't received your NAME CHECK request then contact USCIS......

as far as i know there is no phone number to contact FBI. all we can do is send them an email .is there any other/efficient way you know to contact FBI. do u mean contactimng them thru senator etc.

I sent an email CSC-XII.485@dhs.gov on 06/06 but I have not received any response yet.

What is the usual response time these days?

i sent them email yesterday

got a response in 3 hours and it certainly wasn't automatic response

i asked some questions (not case status) and they answered

i asked them why they didn't send FP2 for my wife and med RFE for my child, and the response was that until primary name check not finalized, all other are on hold

send snail mail to mr. hardy's office. the address is on this forum - search for hardy in my posts.
 
any LUDs?

has anyone gotten LUDs which could be attributed to the email replies?
i got two LUDs, one on the day of the reply and the second next day..
i had called the csc # as well.. :( so i dunno what the LUDs are for.

I just got the following reply

"Just moved to the adjudication's area, adjudications should occur in
4-6 weeks".

Based on the above updatyes, it doesn't seems to be an automatic reply
