Received EAD Card - Want to share information

I applied for my 2nd EAD on 09/09/03 the expiration date was 10/31/03.
Went to local INS office to get the Interim EAD on 01/16/04.
Got EAD approval on 01/26/04.
Yesterday received actual EAD card the date of validity is from 01/26/04 to 01/25/05.

In some of the threads i saw that people got EAD extension from the date of previous EAD expiration. But that not the case with me.

Its good that I got it for more time but still thought of sharing this information.

You get EAD card from previous EAD expiration only if the new card is issued before the old one has expired. That was not the case for you.
