Received courtesy copy today. How long can I delay passport stamping?

I got my approval notice in mail today. But my wife is not approved yet (apparently her file is currently with an officer).

I want to make a single trip to INS and have both our passports stamped at the same time.

Question: is there a time limit for getting your passport stamped?

No near-term limit for passport stamping

As per my information there is no near-term limit for passport stamping after I-485 approval. I got my I-485 approval in early December while I was on vacation. I got my passport stamped in Detroit yesterday. Your GC card processing will not start until you get your passport stamped.
