Received Biometrics Code 3 App Need Advice

We Received The Asc Appointment For Biometrics Code 3. We Got A 485 Query And We Filed 245i Form (since We Were Out Of Status For 180 Days).
What Is This Boimetric Code 3?
When Will Our 485 Get Approved?

Do you mean you got RFE to file supplement form under 245(i)??

Or u already filed 245(i) since begining, and sent inquery and they sent simple letter telling ur status?

I believe now days USCIS has adopt new policy to take FP + PHoto + Signature, so after approval applicant won't need to go to Stamping. and card will arrive within few weeks.



When Will Our 485 Get Approved?

I believe u are aware of new retrogression is applied almost all countries in Eb3. we all very hopefull that those date will increase soon.

That is very good you have got Bio FP. When is your appointment for FP. If possible try to give early FP. In Charlotte i have given early FP on saturday. I heard satuday and wednesdays are good for early FP. If u see more people dont try wait for some time and then give a shot. Most probably they will take it

Biometric Code 3 is FP+ Photo+Signature. Nowadays USCIS is taking Biometics FP.

Eventhough USCIS process with retrogession if u are belong to the country which is affected by retrogession, but in your case it looks like they might be processing as illegal Immigrant Case which you should get approval any time.

Some where in this forum, I read we get Biometrics App after 485 approval, But in our case our 485 is still pending but they are asking Biometrics, is it just they are preparing our case.

First of all to understand that u have pending 485, and ur status is pending 485. and have to do nothing which u are refering as 'illegal immigrant'.

YOU DO HAVE STATUS, and u are not alone on this. so smile and don't worry.


Second cases are not treated or prefered based on 245(i) or any reason. all 485 is processed equally regardless about anything even all 'EB' catagory are processed in FIFO bases,. it mean they would treat ur case as EB? nothing than else, if u have comply $$$ fine fee, and all doc u all fine,

Also consider ur self lucky that they ask u to file Suplement form , many ppl shared they just sent letter to unable to process file again with proper catagory.


You all fine set, give urself some respect and stop calling ur self 'illegal immigrant'
