Received a letter from VSC to reply my inquiry

Made an inquiry about my Nov. 2001 RD case and got the following reply after two weeks:

"The status of this service request is:

Out computer systems show that your petition/application is still pending Service consideration. You may obtain status telephonically through our automated phone system by dialing 1-800-375-5283. This automated system is available 24 hours a day.

... ..."

No useful information at all! I remeber somebody got a different letter, telling to call again after 60 days. I was not even told about that! Does this mean I have to wait for ever? After trying many ways, still no 2nd FP, no RFE and no transfer. I'm trying to keep positive but ...
 
Samansa, I thought your case was in a expedite lane, after you visited VSC in July. Have you contacted senator?

Clueless's congressman is very helpful, get all information for him. Mine is not.

I'll try the local office to see if I can get any tidbits. You can try local office too.

Can you please elaborate a little bit. I am fed up with this process as well...

If you don't know the exact status of your case. Please go to your local office tell them the situation, If you get a good one he will give you the right status.

There is also a enquiry form available in local office get it and ask your lawyer to send it.

In that way BCIS may expadite your case.

OCTRD, there's no worry about your case. Since you did your second FP in June, yours will be approved
this week or next. No point to ask around.
 
There have been more than couple of backlog cases approved in the last two days.

Hopefully you will be approved this week.
