My first FP expired on 8/20/03. I guess it is my expedite request in September triggered my 2nd FP.
 
Second FP is mostly automatic

Especially since it is over a month after expiry. Did you get any RFE? Post your details.
 
Not sure it is automatically generated-why it took some people so long to get 2FP?

They not only looked at my case, but ignored my second expedite request.

My six sense told me it is not automatically generated in my case. But only God knows.

I just hope this process finish as soon as possible.

did you make expedite request...you wrote 2 times you did.. pl clarify
 
there is a form for expedite request

Dengdeng ever posted the form.

I won't suggest anybody to use it unless you really qualify the strict criteria set up by VSC.

I wonder what documents you meant would expire soon? Job offer letter? Anyway, one doesn't have control over transfer and even if they transfer, I think you should be OK with post-doc/fed funds, etc.

Expedite requests generally don't work; it's a kind of contradiction as they waive labor in national interest but won't expedite AOS.
