Received 2 year EAD (GC might take more than 2 years for EB3 PD - MAY 2003)

I have applied EAD renewal on May 23, 2008 and yesterday received two year EAD. Based on this we can assume GC might take more than two years for my PD May 2003 (EB3).

This is because of USCIS BAS****S changed policy from vertical flow to horizontal.

EB3 - INDIA
PD - 05/2003
Labor AD - 2005
140 AD - 2005
485 - RD - 06/2007
FP - 07/07

Hmmmm.. May be they can give a 5 Year AP and 5 Year EAD. So that we go back , and not adjust our life to USCIS , and come back after 4.5 years to see the status.

BTW - Did they take $600 for the 2 year ead (or) 300 only? Hope its 300..Money su..ers.

OR May be wait for 10 -15 years and my kids(who were born here) would sponsor me for GC. I guess that would be faster...

That's good idea (5 year EAD & AP). I have paid 340 only.

USCIS: The unpredictable

My PD is September 2003 EB3 and I got 1 year EAD on 16th of July. I was expecting to get a 2 year EAD which could have saved me some money... not having much hope on early GC..

What is your RD of I-485? May be they are looking that too.

I am going to apply for my EAD next week. So hopes are very less to get a 2 year EAD based on my PD and RD. This is not fair. As long as you are not current they should issue a 2 year EAD.

My RD is Dec 29th of 2003. My case currently is in extended Review.

So based on RD of I-485 you are closer than 'aznj123'. Who can predict USCIS?

Or they may issue 1 year EAD for all extended review cases (including me) as per them it may take a DAY/week/months/YEARS.
