I emailed my N400 application last Wednesday, still haven't got receit number. Is it possible to get it by calling USCIS or I have to wait to be mailed ?

Patience is the name of the game. Wait for few more days and you will save yourself some agony

1. If you really did EMAIL it, your application will be rejected
2. If you mailed it there is a good chance that you will have your NOA in the next couple of days. I've received mine 2 days after checks were cashed.
