Receipt Number of I-485

Hello Gurus,

If you file I-485 , do you receive EAC number or A# number.....
I filed my AOS, EAD,AP. I received all three EAC numbers of AOS,EAD,AP.
I don't know if I should receive A# for AOS ?
Please let me know if receipt of AOS (485 ) should be A# or EAC number.

Your A# is always on your first approved EAD card.

Is it true, that if employer does not file concurrently ( I-140/I-485), then the employee can file the I-485 on his/her own.

My case:
Approved LC was attached by employer to I-140 petition.
Employer did not file I-485 concurrently.
I-140 Approved in April 2004.
I-485 filed in May 2004.
now long wait due to dates retrogression.


Employee does not give copy of approved I-140. how to obain the copy of I-140 from the employer?

Hi!!

You guys have already filed I-485. So do you guys remember after how many days you guys received receipt number? I have sent my papers on 10th December and have not received receipt number yet.
