receipt number is not showing up in the online system

one of my friend received the receipt number for 140 from BCIS and when he checked it online, the status was saying not found in the database. Does any one has seen this before.

Could it be possible, the receipt number could be printed (sent ) wrong.

that happened also to him.

the online system may have a glitch, but i do not believe that the printed receipt does. Alas it is one of the quirks of the BCIS.
