Called customer service today and the officer confirmed that the initial N-400 receipt notice has been mailed yesterday(9/25) and should be arriving in couple of days.
The officer was kind enough to explain the reason for such a long delay without me even asking for it and told me that they had to verify my application to their satisfaction(did not divulge what that verification was) and that verification took some time and the officer even apologized for the lengthy delay(Man O Man, that was surprising).
It took several phone calls and one info pass appt. to get this far into the N-400 process. Wonder what is in store ahead!
