Hi..

My new company filed a H1transfer on Setp2 regular process. As soon as the document had receached the INS they asked me to join their company. Still we did not receive the receipt number.
I heard about H1 cap,is this applicable for H1 transfer also..

Did anyone recieve the receipt who filed on the same date

H-1B cap is not applicable to transfers unless the person has never been counted toward the cap and is transferring to a non-cap exempt company.
