Receipt for Labor Filing.

Hi All,

Happy to join this forum. I want to get the reciept for my GC Labor filing done by Company A. I am with a different company B and want to file the 7th Year extension.

The State was WV and Federal is with PA. Company A says they don't get any receipt but only a File #. Is the File # sufficient? The PA Regional DOL phone # is not answered.

Can you please tell me if Company B can file for my 7th Year with just the File#? If not what is the way to get the copy of a Receipt.

Talk to the lawyer who filed the LC.

Do not apply 7th H1 without LC receipt. (Last year I applied without receipt and my H1 got denied. I am still struggling to fix it by applying motion to reopen and appeal).

Talk to the lawyer who filed the LC. Ask him/her to send a letter to the State/Federal DOL requesting the receipt. They will send it in couple of weeks.

You need it to file extension. Company B can file for extension with company A's LC receipt....
