receipt for application

hi. i sent my application for PR under skilled worker to buffalo office about 2 months ago. i haven't heard anything after that. how long does it take for them to send me a receipt or anything?

You have long way to go buddy. Roughly 1.5 -2 years in whole process.

Did you try checking your online status on www.cic.gc.ca ?

Are you talking about the file number they assign to your case ?

I'm in the same boat too.. I sent in my application in the same category during October 2003. I have not heard anything back from them.

Did you receive your file number ?
