Receipt Date

I mailed my application on May 10th. Check was cashed on May 15th. How long does it normally take to get the Receipt in mail?

I am trying to check the case status on USCIS but do not have LIN.

There is a LIN number on the cashed check image but it has only 6 digits along with LIN.

Any suggestions?

Please ignore my previous mail. I found another post which answered my question.

For others benefit. Do not try to decipher LIN from the check, just hold on and wait for the mail, it will eventually show up.

So I am going to relax and wait for it.

really happy that ou looked around for the answer.anyways,just in case if this helps you out.
it took me 1 month to get receipt notice ,so i am guessing atleast a minimum of same time for u in chicago which is much slower than texas.
