This question pertains to the Just-In-Time Report each service center publishes every month. My case is with TSC, which currently indicates they are processing July 17th. 2007 I-485s.
My Receipt Date is July 6th. 2007 but my notice date is September 7, 2007. USCIS indicates that you need to give them 30 days before you call in to inquire about your case status. So my question is, should I use the Receipt Date or Notice Date to calculate the 30 days? It seems like every time I call the USCIS, they always tell me my application was received on September 7, and I always had to correct them. Answer is much appreciated.
