Reced US Green card Recd after Canadian GC.

I am living in USA since 1999 and I recd canadian GC in 2004 and we landed in Canada and retruned immediately to USA with in a week. In 2006 We received US GC and I no longer want my canadian GC. Do we need to inform Canadian authorities about this or does my Canadian GC automatically invoked?

-- You do not HAVE TO inform cdn immigration authorities. It will automatically be invalid after its expiry.

Every time I enter USA Immigration authorities are looking Canadian GC and asking lot of questions like how can you hold two GCs at the same time.

Tell them that you got this (the cdn PR) before you got the US green card and you no longer use it. This is proved by the fact that you work and reside in the USA.
