Recd response for FP fax enquiry long 15 days after FP notice

Today I received Fax enquiry (sent in mid-Aug) response:

On 9/28/01 a new National Scheduler system began fingerprint scheduling for individuals who submitted an I-485 application on or after 5/01/01. Please allow 120 days from 9/28/01 before making an inquiry on fingerprint scheduling.

that means 120 days from ND does not mean anything now....

The wait has just been increased by 2 more months for people who filed in May 2001.
 
Does that mean no FP enquiries until Jan 28, 2002?

Does that mean folks who applied for AOS after MAY 01, 2001 cannot send in FP enquiries until January 28, 2002 (120 days from Sept 28, 2001)? Atleast the hope is that the new fangled FP scheduling system will be more predictable and consistent.
 
Bhagwan : what are the coments of your attorny ? .........Does this mean we can expect TONS of FP

 
 
Lawyer had sent the fax enquiry, has asked me to ignore reply now as I have already recd. FP notice.

I think FP notices should continue to come - but if it doesn\'t then INS would conveniently send this reply to any FP Fax inquiry.

120 days rule had changed earlier (sometime in September, I think) - so it should be from ND (after 120 days from 9/28/01).

This FP fax enquiry had given hopes to people on this Board - now it has been taken out using some rond-about methods.
