Recd. Plastic Card (DEC. Chennai interview)

Hi Everyone...

I have my CP interview in Chennai in Dec. 2002 and arrived at Newark on Dec. 29.

I live in Boston and recd. the plastic Green Card on Feb. 7th in the mail. I also recd. the Welcome to USA letter on Feb. 5th.

Thankfully, the process with INS is over.

Still waiting for new SSN card.

Did Chennai consulate staple a signed photograph to your passport and if so, was it collected by the INS officer at POE?

Chennai ALWAYS staples an extra copy of photo to the passport. The actual photo used to produce GC is put inside the sealed packet. INS officer almost never takes the photo attached to the passport.
