Rec Interview letter and I140 not approved yet.Need advice

My friend got Interv letter in mail today and interview is on Jan 14 05.His I 140 is not approved yet.What is the best idea ???.Can he go for interview or does he need to reschedule the interview.Here are the details what he gave me:
Sub Labour (mar 2001)
140/485 ND Nov 2003
EAD approved
AP approved
FP Aug 04
Any ideas greatly appriciated

Its not up to him to reschedule in this situation, unless he really can't attend the interview on that day for some strange reason (not recommended, make the biggest effort to go on that assigned day)

saras76 is in a similar situation. Its possible that the I-140 is already approved, but it just never got an I-140 approval online.

Its also possible that the adjudicating officer will notice that the I-140 is not approved a the time of the interview, and either approve it on the spot (not expected, since we have not seen any I-140's get approved at the district office)

or

The adjudicating officer will notice at the time of the interview that the I-140 is not approved yet, and he might transfer it back to TSC at that time.

No matter what, go to the interview at the requested time, no excuses!!
