what are the documents/evidence that i need to rebute an information i gave on my visa application, in 2002 i stated on my application that i was married, while in actual fact the union had not being sanctioned both traditionally and in court(due to my lack of knowledge),i was just cohabitting , but before comming to the us we broke up. am now in the US trying out for green card through marriage with an american. the immigration says based on my earlier statement they are going to deny my application except i can come up with a rebuttal, also that i did not declare i have been married before.
