Reasons for RFE ?

I am not clear about the reasons for getting RFE. I have few questions as follows:-

1)Is RFE issue just random and it depends just on your luck?

2)Is there anybody who got employment related RFE , without making any job change during GC process?

3)How BCIS will know the job change unless you inform them?

3)Getting 2nd FP notice at the end of 15 month of 1st FP - does it mean that there will not be any RFE issues on this case?

4)If you see the case status of a particular month, you will see that the RFE had been issued much before the approval started coming for that particular month for normal cases without RFE... If RFE was to be issued , should it had been already issues ? I mean, Can we assume that the left out cases for that month will not have any RFE at all, once they start the approval for normal cases in that month?

1)Is RFE issue just random and it depends just on your luck?

There are two kinds of RFE. If you have a documentation problem ( like you missed your medical report) or if you were out of status for sometime - most likely you will get a RFE. Othere wise RFE is a quality control system and picked up randomlt and I think it's just luck. It may depend on the officer who is reviewing your case - if he is rookie chances of getting RFE may be higher.


2)Is there anybody who got employment related RFE , without making any job change during GC process?

Yes - in accordance of to answer to question 1, I know people who have been requested of employement letter of paystubs even though they have not made a job change.

3)How BCIS will know the job change unless you inform them?

Not sure - they may not know unless you tell them or they may know from I-9 form. I don't think it's mandatory to inform them about job change - but it's recommended. Address change is more easy to know - AR-11.
