Reasons for I-485 case being transferred from Service center to Local INS

Can anyone who had been through this process before can enlighten the reasons behind this phenomenon.

Would be interested in knowing their experiences.

I-485 transferred to local office

My I-485 has been transferred to Houston according to AVM on Feb. 1, 2002. SRC No. 01-249-xxxx RD: May 30, 2001 FP: Nov. 3, 2001. Would anyone know the reason for transfers like this? Please share your experience. Thanks.
 
Maybe INS will interview you at local office.

Do you have any reason to be interviewed? Something is not clear in your document?

I-485 Transferred to Houston local office

Category EB2, I-485 filed on 3/19/01 Finger printed 05/2001.
My local address in Houston, My employer is based in Frisco, TX but I-140 was approved by Nebraska Service Center...

Could this be the reason ?
