Reason for my parent's B2 visa???

Hello,
I'm planning to bring my parent's on B2 visa to support my wife who is pregnant now. Is it okay to tell the consulate officer of their real reason for the visit or are they better-off not mentioning about the pregnancy at all?
Also, my dad is 60+, so do they qualify for drop-box and if they do, does that mean I don't have to schedule on-line appointment.

Thanks in advance

Venkat

dennismfp,
Ask your parents to tell the truth. Supporting a family during birth is a very good reason. Of course, they can also say that they plan to tour US during the same visit. If someone say they intend to tour alone, further evidence might be needed.
