"Unconfirmed sources indicate that the current Director of Texas Service Center, Evelyn Upchurch, may be moving to the Nebraska Service Center as of May 3, 2005 as the Acting Director. For the last two months, the Nebraska Service Center has been led by the Director of California Service Center as the temporary Acting Director. During the period, the Nebraska Service Center has witnessed some positive changes producing noticeable pace of adjudication of backlog I-140 petitions and EB-485 applications. It is hoped that Ms. Upchurch continues the ongoing improvement in processing and adjudication of I-140 petitions and EB-485 applications in the Nebraska Service Center. "
