I have applied for i140 and i485 through substitution labor concurrently on July 2003. USCIS lost the Original LC and send an RFE. We replied to the RFE saying that they need to contact DOL for this. We got our finger printing done Nov 2004. We are still waiting. Meantime my own LC got approved.
I am currently working on EAD.

Can I reapply i140 using my own LC?

Hi,
I am in the same boat. Were they satisfied with your reply to the RFE? Did the I-140 get approved? How long did it take? Do they actually contact DOL and get a copy OR can we send them a copy of the original LC approval notice?

I appreciate any feedback from anybody on this. Thanks.

You can file multiple 140's

It is my understanding that you can file multiple 140s for the same person, ofcourse only with different LCs..So, i think you can go ahead and file 140 with your own LC as a precautionary measure. If it gets approved, you can withdraw the sub labor 140 later.
