February 2006: I-140 approved with prior priority date (from an EB3 i-140)

Has anyone had any experience like this? Any suggestion as to what might be happening???

Hi Endreto,

Everything is possible with USCIS. To add more confusion see my case details :)

Sep 2005: Filed I-140 and I-485 at VSC in EB2 NIW
February 2006: I-140 approved at VSC
July 2006: our I-485 transferred from VSC to NSC
January 2007: Filed EB-1EA I-140
Feb 2007: EB-1 I-140 approved
Feb 2007: LUD and message change for Derivative I-485 no changes for Primary I-485
March 2007: Derivative 485 got transferred NSC ----> VSC again :)
Attorney enquired at NSC: NSC said The primary 485 got transferred to VSC in Sep. 2006 (I did not get any notice from either NSC or VSC and there is no online message change)
Attorney enquired at VSC: VSC said both primary and derivative 485 files got transferred to TSC on March 14, 2007 (adding another confusion) - No intimation from either NSC or VSC or TSC about where our files are. Still the online status for the primary says "on July 13, 2006 we transferred..... at Lincoln, NE". But for the derivative the online message says the following

Current Status: This case has been sent to another office for processing.

On March 14, 2007, we transferred this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our VERMONT SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case has been sent to our VERMONT SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. any clue? I am in the dark..... anything and everything is possible with USCIS. I stopped checking the online message. DO NOT RELY ON LUDs. If you get email from CRIS then one can believe.
